Making Caleb's cake

We're having friends over tomorrow to celebrate Caleb's birthday, so today, Luke and I made the cake. It was lots of fun, and we should both end up with several cavities to show for it.
We wanted "Caleb" in blue icing, but the blue icing ran everywhere so we decided to make it the background color and we tried again with the green.
Here it is post Luke's sprinkles.
What a beauty, eh? :)

The icing somewhat reminded me of a satellite view of planet earth. I bet it was delicious to eat. Did you both lick the bowl? What fun it is to cook with Luke!!!

Abbey agreed with you, Connie. She decided it looked like a map---the sprinkles represented mountains, and well the blue and green are obvious. We can all see where Luke gets his artistic talents from, eh? I am so gifted! HA! :) SB
