Celebrating Luke's 9th birthday!

We were blessed with a GORGEOUS day to celebrate Luke!!  The kids played basketball, wiffle ball and capture the flag.  We're so grateful for this wonderful group of boys.

The kitchen we came home to.....

 Getting there.....

Our first hot meal in this house in a very long time!  Eggs & biscuits for breakfast on Luke's first day of PSSA's!

Niagara Falls & Toronto

Beautiful rainbows at Niagara Falls.  (Hard to tell in the picture, but the water is FROZEN!!)

It was very windy and very cold!!!

Caleb at the "Butt Depot."  That kid's got his own sense of humor!!  : )
Luke eating muscles at a bar in Toronto on the way to the Blue Jays game.  This meal put the final nail in the coffin of that sweatshirt for me!  It was already disgusting looking but the butter drippings put it over the edge!  : )  But, then, what can you say about a shirt that a kid wears literally EVERY DAY for 6 months?!
At the Blue Jays Rogers Centre Dome (they beat the Cleveland Indians)
 Walking along Lake Ontario
We made Paul his own bed in the hotel room by pushing two chairs together.
 World's sweetest 3rd grader!
The boys in front of the CN Tower (Canadian National) and the Rogers Centre

End of "Stay-cation 2013"

We went for our first trip to the KOP (King of Prussia Mall).  The boys had a great time in the toy stores, the video game store, and.....

 ........we FINALLY found a Chick-Fil-A!!!
We continued the great search to find the perfect shoes that Luke has dreamed about for his birthday.  Here he is trying on 2 different pairs of KD's (Kevin Durant shoes)
We went to the Zoo and took Caleb's friend, Luke.

Caleb got to go with his friend, Sam, to the Phillies exhibition game and he met Charlie Manuel (the manager)!!!  He also got to ride in a golf cart with him.  And, if that's not enough, he got autographs from Kevin Frandsen (#28) and Jimmy Rollins (#11)!

And, Paul got to substitute and play in one of Caleb's baseball games.  He stepped up to that plate never having hit off a pitching machine (40 mph balls!) and went 3 for 4!  GO PAUL!!

EASTER, 2013

Good Friday & Easter

The boys participated in an egg hunt at our church.
Chris & I got to go hear St. Matthew's Passion (Bach) performed by the Philadelphia  Symphony.  It was very good, but WAY LONG!!!
And, we took the boys downtown on Good Friday to the Cathedral and to the Franklin Institute.
