Just ONE day in New York City....

So, NYC is only a 1.5 hour drive from us?  WHO KNEW?  We definitely plan to do this sort of visit again.

We got up early, parked for FREE on a street in Brooklyn (it was Sunday).

We met up with friends, played and had lunch.  Then, we took a water taxi from Brooklyn to Pier 11.

That's when the real walking began.

We walked to the site of the World Trade Centers and talked with the boys about what happened there.

Then we took a subway / walked to Times Square.  They were in AWE over the number of televisions!!!

This is where Paul made his stand.

Get me ice cream or no more walking!

After ice cream, we found a splash park in Central Park.  They had a blast.

Then we ate dinner in Little Italy.  We all enjoyed it, but Caleb was in Pasta Heaven!

We walked from Little Italy, across the Brooklyn Bridge back to our car.

Everyone was tired!!  It was a long, full, fun day!!

We visited Sandy & family.....

We had a fun time with Sandy and family!  We will definitely have to visit again soon!!!
Between fun cousins, golf cart rides, a swimming pool, butterflies, dogs, hikes, and the beach......it was perfect!!

We begin to explore Philadelphia

Luke went to Villanova Baseball Camp
We frequented the local pool (which has an awesome slide).  Paul is LEARNING TO SWIM (he's doing incredibly well!!!).
All 3 boys went to VBS.
We hung out with a really fun juggler at the 4th of July festival.
We went to a state park to hike
and row in a paddle boat.
We swam in our neighbor's pool.......

..........a lot!!!

Luke had his first Philly Cheese Steak (Caleb & Paul were not impressed).

 We walked around Manyunk.....
.......and Penn's Landing

June 5, We moved....

We drove 900+ miles over the course of 2 days......

 and finally arrived!
We painted and had the floors re-stained before our furniture arrived.  (In the meantime, we slept on aerobeds supplied by our WONDERFUL new neighbors--for 2 weeks--until our furniture caught up to us.)

We had a basketball goal installed and met neighbors who also like basketball.  We have had several intense games in our driveway!
We have a sweet bunny who lives in our front yard.

Despite the protestation of lots of wasps, we removed the shutters.

The staircase after stain and paint.

We celebrated Easter.

We moved out of our sweet Homewood house.
