If you can't tell, we just couldn't get enough of cute little Hank.

We're so happy we got to see friends as well.  This is Luke and Bradley.

We got a night out with our friends too.

The boys at Nana & Pops' house.
Goofing off with new toys and movie night in sleeping bags.
We tried ice skating---wow!  Harder than I remembered!
But, we had a great time with Melissa and her boys.

Some of my sweet, old students who took a picture to say "hi" to me.
It was great catching up with my old teacher friends too.
Silliness once we arrived back home.  Incidentally, we drove all day on a Saturday for 14.5 hours.  It was a very long day but we were happy to get it done in just one day.

Early December

One more pic I just found from the O's trip up here at Thanksgiving.  Catherine called it----what beautiful church doors for a picture back drop.

Then, in early December....
We went to see A Christmas Carol downtown.  It was a really fun Saturday and the boys loved it!

Then, the boys talked with Santa at our church's FUN FEST.

And they sang ANGELS WE HAVE HEARD ON HIGH.  (Luke & Caleb are far right)

Then, Dad's Department had a Christmas party.

And, here we are eating around the Advent wreath (while the smoke detector above is beeping like crazy!)

Hanging with the O's

Happy birthday Catherine!!

We had a great night out to celebrate Catherine's birthday.  We ate at Ela, then went for drinks in Manayunk.

Thanksgiving

Thanks to Cathy, Judy, Connie, & Jane for all the wisdom and tradition they have taught us----we told lots of stories about how and what our moms all cook, and together we pulled together off a really incredible Thanksgiving meal!!  We have so much to be thankful for.

The O'S arrive!!

The O-family came up for Thanksgiving and we had a GRAND time!
We explored the historical part of downtown the first day.

 A courtroom from the 1700's.
The actual room where the Constitution was written, debated, and signed.
The actual chair Benjamin Franklin sat in.
